Hi,

i don`t know if i`m right here.... It is possible to register MOVI clients on VCS-C / VCS-E Deployment without TMS Server? I have no Starter Pack.

How could i simply register the MOVI clients on VCS-C / VCS-E ?

Cheers

Thorsten

Friend,

It is not possible to use jabber for Telepresence (Movi) without having TMS or VCS Starter Pack.

Jabber client must to be provisioned to work, it is not a common SIP client.

As Paulo said, you can't, however, you could always use the Cisco hosted "free version" available here:

https://www.ciscojabbervideo.com/

this is identical to the "on-prem" version, however, you won't have features like presence and corporate directories and it is rate-limited to 1.3Mbps. It does work on PCs, Macs and iPad2 and later.

We use a combinatin of the two to keep licensing costs down to a more reasonable level, works fine.
