Video confrence call flow

Hello All,

Kindly I need your assistance in answering the following question:

If I have two video conference endpoints. Both are connected to the same network. Both are registered to the same CUCM.

What will be the call flow for them to have an internal video conference?

Is Expressway-C is needed in this case or not?

Hi,

the same call flow like for a normal voice call applies.

Talking about SIP, there is no difference between a voice or a video call.

SIP message flow for voice/video:

Endpoint <--> CUCM <--> Endpoint

Media flow:

Endpoint <--> Endpoint

And no, if you have CUCM you don't need EXP-C.
