Viewing to MPEG-2 Streams concurrently on the same desktop

I have a customer who wishes to view to MPEG-2 Streams simulataneously on the same client. The PC is using the IP/TV Viewer with the Cisco bundled Mediamatics Streamexpress MPEG-2 decoder.

IP/TV version 3.5.1.5

The first stream starts ok however when opening the second stream, the viewer complains that it cannot find a the codec.

Has anyone got this working ?

I have done this in the past (with and without other unicast streams).

Are these unicast MPEG2 streams or Multicast?

Check your system configuration to see if it is configured to automatically assign a group (address) or if the address is manually assigned. Perhaps the same group has been assigned to the two streams.

That's the only thing that comes to mind ...
