Hello,
We have Cisco 3750 stack switches with POE capabilities, we want to deploy VOIP in our environment.
We will be using the same stack for connecting POE phones (polycom CX 600) and data port of users. we want o cascade the phone and PC on the same switch port. we do not want to use QOS in this deployment.
Wanted to confirm the switch port configuration that the switch port must have for achieving this.
We will be using Microsoft Lync for our VOIP service.
We are currently thinking of using the following configuration on a switch port for connecting both IP Phone and PC:
interface range fastEthernet 2/0/1-23, fastEthernet 3/0/1-47
switchport
switchport mode access
switchport voice VLAN 531
switchport access vlan 502
spanning-tree portfast edge
no shut
exit
Kindly confirm if this will work fine or not.

I have never used that voip service but that it's the same configuration we use on each switchport.

Enabling LLDP on the switch solved the issue.
Now the phones and the systems are getting IPs from correct VLANs.
