voip vs. pots dial peer on redundant H.323 gateways

Hi,

I have 2 H.323 gateways which I would like to use in a redundant fashion.

I configured 3 dial peers on GW1: PRI first, then voip dial-peer to the 2nd GW, then POTS line for backup (config is in the attachment). However, it looks like the pots dial-peer for backup POTS line is always used before voip dial peer even though its preference number is higher.

Is it a feature of pots dial-peers that they are preferred over voip dial peers if destination-pattern is the same? I can't find a confirmation on CCO.

It all depends on preference value.
