Can you use Cisco VT Advantage with IP Communicator?

VT Advantage will not work with IP Communicator. You can run both on the same PC but VTA can not use IP Communicator as the phone. It must be a 7940, 7960, or 7970.

any updates, workarounds or announcements on the subject IP Communicator + VTA.

I have many request of my users about this feature, because they are using their 7940/7960 with the VTA and also want to use their IP Communicators with it.
