does VT Advantage work with "IP Communicator" for video conferencing?
Thanks.

I understand an updated version of both VTA and IP Communicator will add this functionality.

No, it doesn't!
Only 794x, 796x, 797x IP phones are supported now.

Looks like v2.0 of CIPC supports VTA - do a search on Cisco.com for:
ip communicator 2.0
The search snippet mentions VTA, but if you follow the link the document doesn't!
Perhaps the VTa software doesn't support CIPC yet or something?

You will need IP Communicator 2.0 with VT Advantage 2.0. Both "should" be available mid 2006.

IP Communicator 2.0 has already been released. VT Advantage is MIA.
You also need to be running at least 4.1(3) SR2 to support this.

Will Cisco VT Advantage 2.0 and IP Communicator 2.0 support collaboration, multipoint video conferencing and white board sessions? These are some of the features employees would want to use. IS there any time line or informatin availalbe n these features? thanks.
