VTA over MGCP

I am using CCM4.2 / MGCP.

I want to deploy VTAs between my main and remote sites. Does MGCP support this or do I have to switch to H323.

MGCP will not come into play in this scenario. I assume you have IP connectivity between your main and remote sites. The phones/VTAs will be communicating with each other directly over IP. MGCP is used for signaling between the gateway and CCM. So, no you do not need to make any changes to your gateways.
