Webex Room Kit Plus P60 Issue

We have Codian MSE 8420 in our company. Recently we buy Webex Room Kit Plus P60 for one point but when we made a multi-point call the point that we install the Webex Room Kit plus p60 doesn't transmit or receive pictures correctly and the camera Icon shows in pictures with multiplexer icon on the camera icon. What is this camera icon?

The icon is being shown by your MCU, not by the Webex Room Kit.  It is showing that there is a participant that is not sending video.

You haven't given us a lot of detail to help work out where your issue may be.   Is the camera on the Webex Room Kit connected correctly?  Can you see a self-view on the codec itself?  What call control platform are you using (CUCM/VCS/other)?  What call type (SIP/H.323)?  What call rate?  Are the devices on the same site, or are there firewalls in between?

Yes the camera connected to the device correctly and we don't have a problem with the local picture and in the point-to-point calls, everything goes right. 

We use MSE 8420 as a MCU,  the call protocol is H.323 and the call rate is 512KB/S. 

The point is we have another device like Cisco SX20 and SX10 and... But we only have an issue with this device when we make a call through the MCU and the other devices work correctly. 

How do you have your MCU configured with regard to video codecs?  Do you have H.264 enabled?  Or are you only using H.263/H.263+?  You will need H.264 for the Room Series devices as they do not support the older legacy H.263 codecs (but other older device would still support them).  This setting can be found on your MCU under Settings > Conference, then look in the "Advanced settings" section.

Yes, H.264 is enabled. You could find the MCU configuration as an attachment. 

We disabled other codecs and only use the H.264, But our issue is remaining and we have a problem only with Webexroom Kit but other devices work correctly.

I can share the log files, for the Codian and Webex room kit plus. 

I searched for the Codian manual and find the status of an icon. 

 

"The video quality from this participant is poor"

 

But why when we have P2P call, We don't have this issue but when we call through the MCU this icon appeared. 

 

Is it possible this issue is related to compatibility between The MCU version and the WebEx room kit plus? 

 

You could have a version interop issue. Make sure you update both the codec and MCU to recent software releases which would negate this as being an issue
