What port numbers Touch Panel 10 and SX codec uses for pairing. We are creating access lists on the network, and I have issue pairing Touchpanel to Codec, and Touchpanel reports no network connection, even when I can ping to its address

The ports should be TCP 4043 - 4053 : 4053 for first-time pairing setup 4051 for pairing xapi sessions 4052 for log forwarding 4045 for version information 4043 for software download on the codec. The ports on the Touch Panel device side are randomly chosen by the kernel (as usual with TCP).

Is there something more that needs to be opened in ACL? Touchpanel got pairing, but in codec peripherals status it does reports IPv6 FE80::123:ECEE:FE8E:6093, we use only IPv4. When there were no restrictions beteween codec and touchpanel, it reported proper ipv4. By the way, touchpanel and codec are placed in different vlans, with proper routing.

The codec and Touch 10 have to be on the same VLAN/subnet; not sure why but they must.

It is not possible to get them in same subnet/vlan, due to strict 802.1x implementation policy. We must keep touchpanel in separate vlan and only allow codec to touchpanel communication.
