hi, we are configuring a resilient deployment of TMS at one of our clients, but they are using their own Network Load Balancer. is there anyone on here that has deployed resilient TMS before??
we are looking for any help/guidance as they are experiencing issues where it seems to flipping from 1 server to the other even though both are up and not failing.
the cisco documentation only shows example config for F5 and ACE, but doesnt really go into any serious detail.
thanks in advance
Ross

What version of TMS are you running?
We have ours deployed with a different load balance than what is used by Cisco with no issue. It sounds to me that you forgot to configure your load balances to monitor the TMS Probe URL, which tells the NLB which TMS is active/passive and which one to route requests to. Whichever TMS that has the most amount of services running will become the active node, the one with the least will become the passive.
Did you follow all the steps in the TMS Install Guides when setting up redundancy?

thanks
