Hi All,
I have an issue with my C20 Codec. After I ON it, is showing a red led. I know that a red led is an indicator of an error but need your guide on the way forward. How can I solve that issue.
Thanks in advance.

You didn't mentioned what is going on with the system:
Factory resetting the codec would resolve the issue. Refer to this guide under page 130.

Hi Acevirgil,
There is no display at all and I only see the red led. Even the Codec is not booting up at all. Camera is not coming ON. The device seems to have some power issue. So, I think factory resetting will not even work.
Thanks,
Hussein.

If factory resetting won't work for you, could you try making a Y-cable and try to connect it to codec serial port and see if you can access the API and swap the software image. The codec has two locations for software. Using the command "selectsw" you can change back to the previous version of software installed. Try swapping the software image of the codec. The current software image might be corrupted that made the codec not to boot properly.
See below diagram and pin out for the C20 Y-cable:
Connect the P3 on the serial port of the codec and the P1 in your PC.
Use the following parameters for serial connection:
Steps in swapping the image and boot to the selected image.
1. Reboot the system, and hold b until Press 'b' to enter u-boot message appears
2. Press c to stop auto boot, then SATURN> prompt will return.
3. Execute the command: selectsw
4. The Codec will now list the two images and tell you which one is active
image1
image2 [ACTIVE] [SELECTED]
5. To swap the image to image1 for example, enter the command:
selectsw image1
6. Result: Switching to image1
7. To complete the swap you have to reboot the system by entering the command:
reboot
The codec will boot on the selected image. The codec should boot normally.
Goodluck!
