If I have a serial number, can I get the model # of my device, and thus get a physical description of it....
and, if i have to unplug and replug my devices (2 VCS-Control and 1 ExpresseWay) is there a procedure to follow ?....

All 3 are old 1st generation TANDBERG hardware appliances, sometimes refereed to as the black pizza box. The part numbers for them were CTI-VCS-CONTRL-K9 and CTI-VCS-EXPRESS-K9, while the descriptions back then were simply VCS Control and VCS Expressway. I should also point out that no more software will be released for that particular VCS platform (latest supported release being X8.7.x), and they're coming up on end-of-life in 2019, see eos-eol-notice-c51-731300.

I don't recall there being any specific order. I would power them down cleanly and they should talk to each other properly when powered back up, assuming network connectivity.

If you provide the serial number someone may be able to help.
