We are excited to announce the release of single stack IPv6 support for the Umbrella Android Client (UAC), a module within Cisco Secure Client.
What's New?
With this latest update, UAC now offers DNS protection in pure IPv6 environments. This means your Android devices will be protected regardless of the network type—IPv4, dual stack, or single stack IPv6—providing comprehensive security for all users.
This update is particularly beneficial for customers whose mobile service providers operate on single stack IPv6 networks.
How to Enable?
No special configuration is required. Simply update to the latest version of the Cisco Secure Client 5.1.6.113. The client will automatically detect the network type and enable the appropriate protection
