Version 1.1.0 of the Cisco Umbrella Module for AnyConnect for Android OS adds support for Umbrella User Identities. When the Mobile Device Manager (MDM) software on the end-user Android devices is configured to share user identities (generally either userID or email), the managed devices are represented in the Umbrella dashboard by those identities. This enables Umbrella administrators to select one or more specific devices in order to apply policies selectively.
Current Umbrella Android client users can redeploy the app to enable User Identities. Before redeploying, delete current Android devices in the Umbrella dashboard. This eliminates the possibility of duplicate entries for previously registered devices.
Version 1.1.0 of the Cisco Umbrella Module for AnyConnect for Android OS is included with Cisco AnyConnect release 4.9.548.
