1040 Sensor makes flap in both 3560 Switch Interface

Hi Everyone,

Last night I put a 1040 Sensor in a 3560 Switch (c3560-ipbasek9-mz.122-37.SE.bin)and both of the interfaces started to flap (4 min intervals)

I read one tip envolving Switch 3550 using the following command

power inline

delay shutdown 20 initial 30

but this command isn't available in 3560

Any tip or help ?

Hi,

Is your sensor receiving an IP address from your dhcp server?

If not, try configuring the port where the sensor is connected with switchport access vlan voicevlannumber

instead of using switchport voice vlan number

This worked for me. Port is no longer flapping and the sensor get's an IP address.
