4.0(2) and alternate extension

I have 8XXX for a users main VM extension. 1XXX is used for an alternate extension for ACD agents and their MWI light. In CallManger their line 1 is their 1XXX extension and line 2 8XXX.

when we are terminating an employee but not yet deleting their account in Unity,i go to the alternate extension page...place a check mark next to the alternate extension ..click delete...and save.

I then go to the messages page...back space the alternate extension in MWI and place an X in that field. I then save. when i later look at that user i get an n/a in their regular extension field, when it should say 8XXX.

Please advise

I tested your scenario on a Unity 4.0(3) Sr1 system.

I created a subscriber with extension 8111. I gave SUB alternate extension 1888. On the MWI, there is an X representing 8111 extension and I added an alternate MWI 1888. I saved the changes.

I then deleted Alternate Extension 1888. I deleted alternate MWI 1888. Saved the changes. The extension on the PROFILE page for this SUB was still 8111.
