7916 Expansion Module - Cannot assign anything

Hello,

I'm not sure if i'm missing something or just drawing a blank.  I cannot seem to apply any line appearance, speed dial or anything to a 7916 attached to a 7965G on cucm8.

Is there a different place to assign these things other than in the phone configuration?  I have told the phone that it has a 7916 expansion module attached, and the module itself has just a blank blue background.  Do I not just add a speed dial and place it in a position past position 6?

Hey dan,

Did you create a new Phone Button Template (like 7965 with 7916)

and assign your desired button config and then add it to the 7965?

So it's required that I create a template if I have an expansion module?
