7940 IP Phone "Configuring CM List" while registring with CUCM 8.6

Hello,

I'm new to this forum & also newbie at CCNA Voice so please bare with me.

I have three 7940 ip phones. One phone has 8.1(2.0) firmware version. Second phone has 8.1(SR.2) firmware version.

CUCM version 8.6 running on Vmare Exi 5.5.0

Cisco 2821 router and 3750G switch.

I'm trying to register my phones with CUCM. Three sub-interfaces on router have been configured on Gig0/0 for data, voice, & server vlan respectively. Also ip-helper address given at voice sub-interface (ip address of my cucm)

Dhcp server - I created my cucm as my dhcp server. For dhcp subet configuration please see attached file.

Phone with 8.1(2.0) firmware the screen  is stuck at "configuring ip" and the phone with 8.1(SR.2) is stuck at "configuring CM List"

Nothing happens after that..I have rebooted the phones to factory default & still the same result.

Please kindly help me with this problem

Guide me with the process if I'm missing something important.

Hi Chitra,

Are you using manual or automatic registration. If it is automatic please make sure that the same is enabled under callmanager group and under Unified CM on the cucm admin page. Also make sure that the phone with configuring IP message has got the correct IP address and is pingable from cucm.
