I have a customer that runs on-prem CUCM version 11X, he cannot upgrade to 12.5 to use Smart License because there is no valid SWSS, however, they bought 50 new A-FLEX-3 Named User licenses for expansion.
At first I thought there's no way this would work but then noticed there is an addon-on section when purchasing A-FLEX-3 to support version 11X, specifically part number that is included in the customer order:
A-FLEX-11.X-LIC - Version 11x license entitlement
Does this mean that even though A-FLEX-3 is Smart License only, on MCE I might be able to find this entitlement in a PAK format to use it on the on-prem CUCM?
