I have a customer that wants to get the messages out of the undeliverable mailbox, however, when a user tries to access the mailbox id 99999 and enters the pin number it fails authentication. I reset the pin again, but still failed authentication. Is there a setting to allow login to this mailbox somwhere in unity connection or could something else be going on?

Ideally the customer should add some users to the undeliverablemessages distribution list. By doing this, those users will recieve a copy of any messages that hits the undeliverable messages mailbox.
Having said that, you should be able to log into the mailbox without additional configuration. You could also access the messages though PCA or connect via IMAP to pull them out.

I have not tried to access the messages via imap or pca yet, so I will
try that in the morning. I still can't figure out though why I can't
log into the mailbox using that extension and pin number... I can on
our ucx box and a few of our other customers I've tried it on, just
not this one, kinda baffleing. I'll post back tommorow after I try
imap and let you know. Thanks for the reply

I was able to access the mailbox using the pca application and retrive the messages. I also added 2 users to the distro list for undeliverable messages.
