old CUBE version 12 reached EOL. so You can only purchase CUBE 14 license.

I have tried to issue command voice service voip and mode border element and it accepted by the ASR router

doesn’t that mean it can act as CUBE without license ? it could be on  Evaluation mode.

AFAIK the licenses on these are RTU, with no enforcement.

The 29xx and 39xx uses universal IOS, so the features is controlled by what license you have. Have not looked at the same for the ASR, but likely it’s the same.

What I  remember is 29XX,39XX "v" voice bundle  includes  5 or 10  CUBE session license .And if I am not wrong its an RTU license.

Concept of dedicated iOS for UC was with old routers. From ISR29XX and 39XX  its Universal IOS, To activate the UC features   you need UC license.

ISR 29XX and 39XX will reach EOL next year. So  its  not possible to order any kind of licenses for 29XX and 39XX.

For ASR router, you need CUBE 14 license.

Hello Nithin ,

thanks for your input

why I need exactly 14 ?

I have tried to issue command voice service voip and mode border element and it accepted by the ASR router

doesn’t that mean it can act as CUBE without license ?
