Add automatical directory numbers and device profiles from Active Directory users

Hello,

I've two questions.

1. I try to add automatically only all extension numbers from "telephoneNumber" field inside my Active Directory to the directory numbers of my CUCM 8.6.2

I've stored the numbers as follows at my AD users, like +49 89 123456 7890

Description	Content
Country code	+49
Pre select for town	89
Subscribernumber	123456
Extension	0987

2. I've only the following IP Phone type 7962 at my enviroment. My CUCM 8.6.2 is connected to an Active directory system, where I stored the phone number at the 'phoneNumber' field like I explained above

Now is it possilbe, to generate automatical device profile for each user of the OU which I sync to the CUCM, like e.g. USERID_7962 and add the phone number to the first line?

Hi Kai,

Not there's no way. Device profile can't be sync from LDAP, it need to be created manually or using bulk administration tool.
