Adding a Dialogic card to an existing server?

I have an existing Unity VM 4.0(4) 32 port system that has been in production for awhile. The system is dual-integrated into a CCM 4.0 (4 ports, skinny) cluster and a Mitel SX2000 pbx (16 ports).

The system has existing D41 and D120 PCI cards for the analog integration. I added an additional D120 card for more analog ports. The dialogic configurator sees the new card and all of the services start properly. Unity does not see the additional analog ports. I have 12 port licenses available. Do I need to re-run the installation for unity to see this additional card? Thanks in advance.

Officially you are supposed to remove the voiceboard software, then re-run Unity setup, just choosing "Install voiceboard software" option in order to get the board recognized. However, if you manually got the board recognized, you may just need to run UTIM to add the ports to the existing Mitel Integration. Try this out, run UTIM from Start Menu | Programs| Unity| Unity Telephone Integration Manager, and in the ports tab for the Mitel integration it might allow you to add 12 more ports.

If it doesn't allow you to add more ports then the extra card was not recognized properly. So I recommend following this link to uninstall voiceboard software, re-run the Unity setup, just choosing "Install voiceboard software", and then running UTIM again to add the ports.

Un-installing the dialogic software completely, rebooting, and then re-installing the dialogic software only via the CUinstall program did the trick. Thanks.
