Alter nameID aor source on SIPREC metadata from CUBE

We are using SIPREC as calls go through of our CUBE (IOS XE 17.09.03a) with PSTN calls out of CUCM (v15SU2).

When an outbound call is placed, the Ext phone number mask, configured on UCM, populates the SIPREC nameID aor, as you'd expect.  We set the CID Num to our company's main number replacing users' 4 digit extension for the obvious reasons of routing calls over the PSTN.

Our team that collects and parses the collected SIPREC recordings is having to go back and do a comparison with the UCM CDRs to tie that outbound call recording back to the user that actually placed the call (this adds a lot of time and complication).  I've been asked if I can alter the participant ID info in the SIPREC with the extension vs the current 10 digit CID mask.

While I haven't made it work, I am hoping I can insert the user's extension in the PAI (or some other SIP Header) with a normalization script in UCM. Though maybe that's going to really challenging, don't know just yet. I still need to keep the CID mask num the 10 digit main number on the INVITE out to the carrier, so I can't impact the from or contact fields.  We block the PAI out to the carrier so that seemed like a logical choice to source the info for SIPREC.

Altering a field in the outbound call INVITE from UCM won't make difference if I can't get the SIPREC metadata to use a different field to populate that aor.  I've found statements that indicate the "from" field USUALLY populates this on the metadata.

Has anyone had success in altering the participant ID field in the SIPREC meta data?  Is there a more obvious option that I'm missing to send two different CID nums to the CUBE from UCM then split what's sent on the call SIP vs SIPREC?
