I'm using a Cisco CUBE to integrate Exchange 2010 UM with multiple CUCM clusters (various versions). The CUCM clusters are using H.323 to the CUBE and the CUBE is SIP to Exchange UM. I have inbound and outbound calls for voicemail and Auto Attendants working but the "Play on Phone" option is not working. When you try to use the feature it dials and rings the phone but if you answer it does not complete the call setup and you get disconnected. Exchange UM will continue to dial your phone untill you press Hangup via the "Play on Phone" screen.
I do not want to use an MTP resource to resolve this issue.
Has anyone had any luck using a CUBE for CUCM to Exchange 2010 UM integration and got the "Play on Phone" feature to work?
Thanks,
Mike Shelley

With Exchange UM, I believe you must use MTP if you are using codec changes. Also, what version CUCM are you running? You may not be getting a SIP "BYE" message.

Try to add the following command to your Exchange "dial-peer" config :
incoming called-number . (dont forget the point)
Mine looks like this:
dial-peer voice xxxx voip
description *****Exchange 2010 AA*****
destination-pattern xxx
b2bua
session protocol sipv2
session target ipv4:xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
session transport tcp
incoming called-number .
dtmf-relay rtp-nte
codec g711ulaw
no vad
I had the exact same problem and it solved it.
