Are cisco cucm 11 licenses backwards compatible with 10.5

are cisco cucm 11 licenses backwards compatible with 10.5.  I have a shared PLM server with all 10.5 licenses for 3 CUCM clusters and 2 CUC clusters.  I want to upgrade one of CUCM clusters to 11.5, however this will break my PLM correct?  Can you migrate all of my 10.5 licenses or am I only able to do part of them as they are not "backwards compatible"?

You could upgrade plm to 11.5. It is capable of hosting 10 and 11 licenses at the same time . Then just upgrade the necessary licenses from 10 to 11 to cover the cluster you are upgrading to 11.5 and leave everything else on 10.

Provided that you have the appropriate major-upgrade service contract, you should be able to migrate 10.5 licenses to 11.x. Cisco licensing team can help you with that.

No, they're not.

11.x licenses are only valid for 11.x, same goes for 10.x licenses.
