Attendant Console - Overflow to voicemail

When configuring Attendant Console (9.x) to overflow to voicemail what is the recommended configuration?

Initially I simply configured the voicemail hunt pilot number as the overflow, but that simply results in the call reach the generic Unity Connection message rather than reaching the mailbox of the queue pilot number.

To get voicemail overflow working I created a 'CTI Route Point' on the CUCM and assigned a DN and configured it for call forward all, and added that DN as an alternate extension on the desired mailbox.

This works, but I was just wondering if this configuration is the 'norm' for CUxAC overflow to voicemail, or is there a more straightforward way to get the overflow calls to hit the queue pilot number mailbox?

The way you did it with CTI RP is the best approach.
