Attendant console recommendations

Hi,

I am evaluating alternatives to the existing attendant console which we are using now in the European area.

As usual the attendant console is most of the time part of a host of extra tools (Telephone book, reverse lookups, reporting) so any product which has a broad range of such extra tools has an advantage.

Currently I am looking at Peter Connects and Imagicle. Other options would be Akkian and ARC but they seem to be limited in extra features they offer.

Which products are you using and why do you think it is a good choice? (Features, price, support, etc.)

Thanks,

Danny

Hi,

What additional features are you looking for outside of director, reverse lookup, and reporting?

- Cost effective high availability. For example, if I would need a MS SQL cluster as a back end then I would not call that cost effective because the MS licenses are pretty expensive.

- Multi tenant support.

- Basic IVR support.

- Maybe even time based call redirection via ECC profiles. I know of NTW which has implemented this with multi ECC profile support by providing differentiating URLs.

- Voice recording. I must hesitate to mention this as an "add-on" service because IF a company has a legal obligation to implement voice recording it should be done properly. So the feature is pretty low on the list.

In general I would be looking for a toolbox of features so that that I don't have to manage multiple different Vendors. In effect I would be trying to reduce operational work load. Ergo, features to not always trump stability because if bugs and issues INCREASE work load again then I could just as well implement multiple stable individual servers.

There has always been a need for such little tools around the CUCM. In the past ANDTEK was doing promising work but it sort of went down the drain when their main developer died.
