Both Primary and Secondary DNS Servers Failed

Hello Everyone,

I see error "Both Primary and Secondary DNS Servers Failed" when I run utils diagnose test on CUCM SUB. I have same configuration on all nodes but they dont give any error but this sub gives. Any idea what is that error? CUCM version is 9

You can try using the "utils network host <hostname or IP>" command on this server to check the connectivity with other servers on the cluster. This command resolves a host name to an address or an address to a host name. If there are any issues found by running this command you will need to fix the same.

does not give me any error

In that case try a restart of this server and see if the error is cleared. Also, verify the database replication status of all servers in RTMT, it should be 2 for all.

db status 2 for all and I will restart server this Friday and will update you.

Also please make sure that the forward and reverse lookup entries are set up correctly in the DNS server for the CUCM Sub in terms of Hostname and IP Address.
