I am trying to bulk import phones and users in a new CUCM 7x server using exported text files from a clients exisiting 3x Call Manager server. I upload the files but on using the bulk add feature i get errors when looking at the job schedule report. The errors all reference "invalid field" for Mac address /Device ID.
Can anyone give me some hints here?
Thanks.

Hi James,
You can use the BAT Export from CUCM 3.x and then Import on CCM 7.x but the .csv files will need to be tweaked. The look and feel of BAT on 7.x versions is a little different so you would have to experiment with what fields need to change before the actual Import is done. By the looks of this error the Mac address /Device ID is probably showing up in the wrong field.

Thanks, turns out that the issue was that the insert phones job was erroring out because it needed the phone button template name, not the name of the template i created for the phone type.
