How I can establish a trunk calls between main CallManager at HQ and several CallManagers at remotes? Shall I go with SIP or H323 trunk type, advise? Any special configuration required?

The easiest would be to create inter cluster trunks (non-gatekeeper controlled) to each site or you can create a hub and spoke connection where the HQ connects to all sites and each site only connects to the HQ to reach the other sites.

Dear
You have two scinarios fist one through gatekeer(centralized) other intercluster without gatekeeper conntrolled (Distributed) , For example if we use gatekeeper and all calls will go using gatekeeper ( but this is not recommended in your case) , Intercluster using gatekeeper (h323) when you have in your HQ Call manager server and a CME in your branches.

Please rate , if this is helpfull
Thank you

What version of CUCM are you running on both sides?
If they are relatively new i.e. 7.X or newer definitely use SIP trunks as that is Cisco's recommendation (see SRND), if one of the sides is older version use non-GK controlled trunk.
