Can CUCME support remote phone registration

Hi

I am proposing CUCME to one of my very small customer having 7 location, so can I have CUCME in one central location and rest 6 remote sites can have IP phones registered with the same central CUCME?

and that is not Via VPN this is as similar as we support remote phone registration in CUCM?

Correct over the WAN. Just look at supportforums.cisco.com and put in CCME WAN phone and you will see many hits.
