Hi all,

I try to configure Unity Connection 8.5. All is OK, I can call Mail Box, configure it, etc.

But when people leave a message, the message is not store. And if i don't speak after the message that i want to leave, the operator say that the system is not able to take my demand.

Is someone have an idea?

Hi Jerome,

From the link that Brad attached (+5 Brad )

You just need to determine what version of Unity Connection you are running and load

the appropriate files.

There are two sets of language files available. You must download the right set of language files based on the version of the software they are running at.

If the Connection server is running version 8.5(1) SU 1, install the language files for SU 1 release.

Which would be uc-locale-fr_FR-8.5.1.1-24.cop.sgn

If the Connection server is running version 8.5(1) ES24 or higher, install the language files for ES24.

Which would be uc-locale-fr_FR-8.5.1.1-16.cop.sgn

Cheers!

Rob

I test to turn the default system in English and it wroks fine! So whent I turn the default language to french, i'm unable to leave message...

Hi Jerome,

You need to make sure you downloaded the proper locale for the version you're running.  The Release Notes talk about this:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/connection/8x/release/notes/851cucrn.html#wp1032956

You will typically see this type of behavior if you've got the wrong version of locale installed for the version of UC you're running on.

Hope that helps,

Brad

Thanks Bradford,

so I install locale installer uc-locale-fr_FR-8.5.1.1-24.cop.sgn for UC 8.5.1 ES24, but it exist uc-locale-fr_FR-8.5.1.1-16.cop.sgn for UC 8.5.1 SU1.

How can I know what's the good local installer ?
