capripper with Ethereal .cap files

Has anyone found a way to use the CAP Ripper utility (in \commserver\utilities\audio directory, not mentioned in Tools Depot) with Ethereal .cap files? Using Ethereal 0.10.9 (C), CAP Ripper v1.0.1 complains (rightly) that the file does not appear to be either a sniffer or netmon capture file.

2-step solution: Use Ethereal to save its .cap file in sniffer or netmon format, and then run capripper at the Unity console, NOT via Remote Desktop.
