Guys:
I understand that Cisco is going to start charging for Attendant Consoles with CCM version 7. I have 395 Attendant Console users.
Most of my AC console users use their AC consoles to monitor the phones in their department. The AC console gives them a sense of control where they can see who is on the phone for excessive periods time. They also use the console for transfers.
These users do not even logon to the AC console.
Can anyone suggest at a low cost or free third party alternative with no license fees?

Our company makes a great replacement for a fraction of the cost of the recommend solution. It's easy to install, and frankly has some more powerful features that are actually quite usable as well. Some examples would include phone messaging and paging, park for with phone notification, exchange, jabber, cups, lync integration, etc.
