We have new switches that only support CDP passthrough and Cisco 7940s. We are looking for an e911 solution.
I was wondering if I can still make CER work by having one Cisco switch port connected to a vlan so that the switchport would see all the phones (say 200 per vlan) as CDP neighbors? I understand that we could not get e911 information to a cube, however for us just the floor info is fine.
