Hi, can anyone answer on my questions:

1. can i register cisco 7821 like 3rd party device on CUCM 7.1.5?

2. Should i change factory firmware (sip78xx.10-1-1-1SR1-4)?

Yes you can do it. There is no need to change the default firmware, it will work with CUCM 7.x

Manish, as i know, for registration 3-d sip device i should create a new user and set the same username and password on my phone and CUCM(for this device). But i can't find username and password fields in cisco IP phone 7821 menu. Am i right?

Hi, i have already read it.

I have created new end user but there are no fields in menu of 7821 phone where i can type Auth ID and password.

Can you share a screenshot of what you have configured on cucm? Are you adding the phone as third party SIP ( basic ) and trying to set the digest user?
