Cisco Analog voice gateway for fax configuration

Hello,

We are planning to move from a third party PBX to Cisco. We have few fax machines and few analog phones. Can I use a VG350 Analog voice gateway with FXS ports to configure all the above devices?

Yes, you can.

It may be better in later IOS/IOS-XE versions, but I had issues with SCCP ports and T.38 fax relay. MGCP seems to handle the switchover to T.38 better in my experience. If you don't need T.38 and force all fax traffic to g711 pass-through then signalling protocol doesn't make much difference.
