Cisco Business Edition 6000 Installation

Dear Valued team,

I have a Cisco Business Edition 6000 to deploy with third party phones and Cisco IP Phones. My Colleague installed Linus XCP OS besides an initially installed CUCM OS so there are two operating systems. The Server boots on Linux but i would wish to run it on CUCM OS. How can I do this without losing my initial configurations for the IP Phones?

Are you trying to say  that your colleague installed a Linux XCP OS on the CUCM?

It’s essential to understand that ‘Cisco Business Edition 6000’ is not the name of a standalone software. These are tailored solutions based on user count. Both BE6000 and BE7000 employ the same suite of applications, with the maximum device capacity differing according to the chosen solution.

CUCM: Cisco Unified Communications Manager for phone registration
CUC: Cisco Unity Connection for voicemail
IMP: Instant Messaging and Presence

Additionally, other applications can co-reside with the ones mentioned above.

Please note, it’s not feasible to install two operating systems on the CUCM, similar to how a PC operates
