Hello all,
Does anyone know what tasks need to be accomplished on the CUCM for click to call functionality for CUCM 5.1.3 without Presence? Do the users need to have CTI rights or does it work via SOAP/HTTP/webdialer without SIP or CTI?
Customer is using Sametime connect 8.0.2.
We've dug around and only fiind documentation that includes Presence.
Any information and/or links on setting this up would be greatly appreciated!
Many thanks!

To my knowledge the only Sametime integration is done through CUP. To answer your question though: The End User must be a member of Standard CTI Enabled group and have the phone(s) that should be controllable through CTI associated to them. Once that is done web dialer or the TSP will work. Don't forget to activate the CTI Manager or WebDialer services if necessary.

Hi Jonathan,
Yes, I was under the same impression but the attached Cisco document clearly indicates in the requirements section that it can be done without CUP. We've search high and low for more specific information but have come up empty - everything has CUP in the mix. Was hoping somone out there had done it without CUP before.
Thanks again!

Phone control was integrated with CUCM via CTI. http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucibmlotus/cpcap/8x/english/integration/guide/cpcapig.html#wp61161
