We in the process of a hardware and software refresh and have upgraded Connection to the latest in the 10.5 version to do a DRS backup and restore to the new system prior any further updates. Switch version was performed yesterday at ~ 6:00 pm CST and Cisco Tomcat still hasn't started. Looking at the VM CPU it ramps up every 5 or so minutes and stays high for about the same amount of time.
I have found instance where regenerating the certificate might help, but wanted to reach out the forum to see if anyone has suggestions. I will start of tac case if needed but would rather do that during the time the system could be shutdown/rebooted.
Thanks,
Joe

Worked with TAC and it was a simple fix of just regenerating the tomcat certificate.

You can try a 'utils service restart Cisco Tomcat' which isn't service affecting. Tomcat does take a long time to start on Unity Connection, but this seems excessive. Have you reviewed the certificates to see if any are expired? Check trust certificates too. Clean that up prior to doing the upgrade.
