I'm trying to find some documents that would list a compare tables to see what new features are listed in 8.6.2 that would be worth upgrading.
Thanks,

There isn't any, review the release notes for 8.6(2) and all the changes will be mentioned there.

Hi Julien,
Here is the "New and Changed" info for CUCM 8.6;
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucm/rel_notes/8_6_1/delta/delta.html
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucm/rel_notes/8_6_2/delta/delta862.html
Also, you will want to note that the move to CUCM 8.6 requires the new "Refresh" upgrade process
The details are in this good reference;

Cheers!

Hi Rob,
Thanks for the info, this is good material to read.
Would you know off hand if there are any real benefits to upgrading from 8.5 to 8.6.2 at the moment? Any real benefit that is a game changer? I don’t see anything much besides maybe a couple of bug fixes.

Hi,
I would say wait for CUCM 9 to release. I think it will have new features...But we have to wait for its release.
Not much advantage on using CUCM 8.6 comparing to CUCM 8.5. My thoughts only....
