Cisco unified communications manager 8.6 license file problem

Good afternoon,

I ran into a problem when we were trying to upload a new license file onto cucm 8.6. The file was uploaded onto it properly but it still says the demo version is still in affect with the 30 day rule. We reset the CUCM itself along with the Cisco Callmanager Serviceability, license manager, and the A Cisco DB. As well as deleting the license files through CLI.

Is there anything else i should try to make the license file take?

Hi Dennison,

In CUCM 8.x after uploading the license file you can restart the callmanager service on that node. If the file is not being recognized then you can email licensing@cisco.com to get the file republished and upload it.
