I have cisco call manage 4.x and Unity 4.x . I have set up IVR but the IVR does not accept DTMF tones. Any suggestions anyone

Is caller input enabled in Unity?
Have you confirmed DTMFs are reaching Unity with the port status monitor?

Can you tell be how to check if DTMF tones are reaching the Unity. Thanks

Go to the Unity tools and you'll find the port status monitor there, open up all ports you have for inbound and then watch the output, if Unity is receiving the DTMFs you'll see the messages and the DTMF it received.
If you don't see any DTMFs messages then most lilely DTMFs are never reaching Unity and the problem is somewhere else.

I now realise that the problem is intermittent you will be sucessful sometimes but not others. I opened port staus monitor but did not know how to open all ports for inbound . I pressed a button called start all monitors but did not see anything in the event windows. Please see attached document
