Hi, I have to install a cisco unity 7 voice messaging in a network containing an Exchange 2010 server. The IT team of the client doesn't like to make any change in the AD or Exchange servers. Since the Unity server interactions with the message store (Exchange 2003) do not allow the server to be in a workgroup, I am wondering if I can install tha AD, Exchange 2003 and Cisco Unity 7 in the same server ? thereby the cisco unity will be at the same time the DC of the domain and the voice message store.
If this configuration is bossible, which hardware prerequists should I have in my server ? (My client purchased an MCS-7825-H4).
Thanks for the help.

Hi,
Installing AD on Unity server is not recommended due to AD's extensive resource utilization but yes AD can be installed on Cisco Unity server along with Exchange server all in one server.
Procedure to install AD & Exchange server can be found in installation guide .
Further, the MCS-7825-H4 is supported for Unity 7 installation, please refer " Cisco Unity Supported Platforms List "
GP.
