Cisco Unity Connection takes long time to answer calls

Hello Friends,

Please, I need your help to suggest a solution for me...

I have Cisco Unity connection v7 and sometimes when I try to make a call to the unity (or pressing message button on the phone), unity answer the call after long time ( 5 rings but it always answers the calls ) and sometimes it answers the call immediately, Is that a login behavior to the unity ? how can I guarantee a smooth functionality or even push the unity to answer all calls immediately ?

Hi Hisham,

The first thing I would try is this Tool from the excellent suite of Unity Tools to have a look

at the call flow to see what is happening on normal & slow connections when

they are passed to Unity Connection. Maybe there are ports in the Hunt list that

aren't set to "Answer calls" ;
