Cisco Unity software license activation key/file

Hi,

I have purchased Cisco Unity 4.03 with Unity Server 72 ports UM license. However,the server that i'm using is MCS-7845H-2.4-ECS2 which I've checked in the datasheet only support up to 48 VoiceMail ports due to hardware limitation. I have 2 MCS servers running on failover and my question is if the server only support 48 ports, what happen to my remaining available ports and how do i fully utilise the 72 voice ports? You can't fully utilize them unless you have a hardware platform that can support the load of running 72 ports. Since we only have a 32 port and 72 port server license people who need 48 ports will get a license that could theoretically support 72 ports. While we can't pragmatically prevent over subscription it will definitely cause you performance issues and is not supported. You need to stick with 48 ports or move to a hardware platform that can support the load.
