Hello,

We are planning for Cisco IP-Telephony system in our company.

We already have existing Cisco Blade server- B200-M3 in our organization.

Can we use be6k-st-bdl-k9= (25 users license) if we install CUCM on our cisco blade server, rather than buying BE6K server.

Hi Amod,

BE6K is a packaged solution and is supported on Cisco UCS C220 M3 only. It comes with pre-installed hypervisor and software and includes starter 25 User licenses (you can buy add-on licenses as per requirement). You can not just buy licenses only, it's a complete solution.

But you can surely use your UCS Blades for IPT. You will need to plan and buy the required licenses.

please refer the faq of BE6K which says

Q. Can I install Cisco Business Edition 6000 on a different specifications-based Cisco UCS Server or on a third-party server?

A. Cisco BE 6000 is a hardware and software bundle combination that is supported only on Cisco UCS C220 M3 Server.
