could you please be a bit more specific what you did and what happened? How did you remove the Publisher (i.e. did you power it off, unplug the ethernet cables, etc)? Was it working prior to the failure (i.e. were you able to call either subscriber or publisher and the respective server answered the call successfully and the cluster status was such that the publisher was primary and subscriber secondary)?
